“Maciej comes from my hometown and after hearing about his situation, it was clear to me that he is someone whom I could help; During an accident at work, he fell from a great height and was paralyzed. Now, he cannot walk without assistance and requires expensive rehabilitation. I hope that this grant money will ease some of the financial burden of his necessary rehabilitation.”
